A huge congratulations to our Chappelow Cup team - MPSD Gold on their well fought victory on Sunday, batting first and defending their total of 6/158. #mountiesmagicmoment

Player of the match was the very deserving Nischal Nandamuri, who played an incredibly important role with the bat (an unbeaten 64 runs), and also chipped in with 2 wickets and a catch. Nischal was especially instrumental in the middle order ensuring the that the runs kept accumulating, and formed an excellent partnership with Zeeshan Laaldin (35). A second special mention to Zeeshan who took the vital wicket of the Roseville opening batter, and took out the bowling honours with 2/21. . The fielding effort shone through with the last 2 wickets a result of run outs as Roseville tried to find a way to score the runs required. It was truly a team effort with the bat and the ball. Well done to Captain Ramana Koneru on always leading from the front, to all those that played on Sunday, and to the whole team for such a fine season and a well deserved victory. Back to back premierships 2023/24 and 2024/25 - what an awesome achievement.
