On Saturday afternoon, in Round 3 of the Senior Thunder Women's League, Aditi Shidore from Mounties Cricket Club opened the batting, and then in a Mounties magic moment made sure that she saw the innings to the end. In an outstanding display, she saw the boundary 33 times, and hardly gave the opposition a look in. In a partnership of 241 runs with our Captain QJ; Aditi, as Aleeza would say was simply amazing. In a very composed innings, QJ ensured that Aditi saw most of the strike, and after scoring her maiden century in Round 1, Aditi has kept the record books tumbling with her superb double century (207 off 123 balls) Aditi is indeed chasing her cricket dreams. Well done Aditi, we are all in awe (especially Parina who will have her bat ready for signing at our next game).
